Adoption of Green call for Covid Task-Force welcomed

Clare Bailey MLA has welcomed the NI Executive’s announcement on the establishment of an expert Covid task-force. 

The Green Party NI leader called for the establishment of the expert task-force a number of weeks ago. 

Clare Bailey MLA said: “The Covid task-force announcement is welcome and is a

sensible way forward. 

“Lives and livelihoods depend on us getting a grip on the covid crisis. The five party Executive model comes with competing political priorities -  clearly this has hampered crisis management efforts and dented public confidence and compliance. 

“I look forward to the establishment of the task-force and hope it gets to work as soon as possible.”
